AND TIMELESS DESIGNS
Combining their talents, Barbara and Daniel have been working together in the stained glass medium for over 15 years. Their stained glass works of art are original in design and built in the copper-foil method. Individual pieces are cut from large sheets of colored glass. Each piece is then sanded, wrapped in copper-foil tape and skillfully soldered together. The finished piece is then antiqued with copper patina and hand buffed to a high luster polish.
Barbara and Daniel enjoy working in the stained glass medium because it is familiar to a wide audience in its functionality and timeless beauty. They feel their presentation of modern designs–coupled with an ever-changing color palette–gives credence to a renaissance in the studio art-glass movement. They combine rich textures and brilliant colors to create classic designs crafted from crystal, opal and transparent glass. Barbara and Daniel offer over 30 years of combined expert craftsmanship and design experience in the glass and fine arts.
